Bembridge Neighbourhood Plan
Bembridge Parish Council is in the process of producing a Neighbourhood Plan. This plan is a community led initiative which will set out policies on the development of the village within Bembridge Parish. The Plan will be used to advise the Parish Council Planning Committee when considering planning applications and must be taken into account by the Isle of Wight Council in determining planning applications.
The process of producing the Neighbourhood Plan involves a large amount of effort to ascertain the views of Bembridge residents, visitors, workers and businesses. There are a number of steps to be undertaken before the final plan can be published which includes public consultation. The Neighbourhood Plan has 8 sections as follows:-
