| BYCC achieves Hallmark 1 & 2 (4 March 2010) |
| Bembridge Youth & Community Centre in Steyne Park has achieved a first on the island; obtaining Hallmark 1 and 2 on the same day. Hallmark is a quality standard scheme for effective and well-managed village and community halls. Trustees are delighted the charity has received this recognition and the grant of £ 2,247 will be used to part-fund a kitchen installation. The trustees are committed to developing the Centre and the need for a kitchen is well overdue. |
