| First Visitors welcomed at the new Bembridge Lifeboat Station (22 June 2010) |
| Over 40 children from Ryde St John Junior School along with 3 teachers were the first to inspect the new offshore lifeboat station in Bembridge. The crew at the station, that opens later this year, welcomed the group and showed them around and later challenged them to a "Crew Kit Challenge". The lifeboat station has been paid for in the main by the public with many groups throughout the village supporting the campaign. |
