There has never been a more important time for young Islanders to receive sound careers advice that will lead to real jobs therefore I would like to make you aware of The Island Careers Partnership (ICP) which aims to link schools with local businesses to help with skills shortages.

The core aim is to connect business with education to inspire and guide students along a clear pathway to fulfilling jobs. The ICP has worked hard to enable young people have access to:-

  • the most appropriate and comprehensive Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance regardless of which institution they attend.
  • Opportunities to develop essential employability skills within island work settings.
  • Local training and work experiences.
  • Joining over 800 individuals already involved and supporting the partnership.
