Full council

Meeting: 3rd Wednesday of each month.
Purpose: To oversee the workings of the Council and fulfil all legal requirements.

Purpose: To assess and agree staffing strategy and monitor and manage all employment issues.

Meeting: 1st Wednesday of each month.
Purpose: To oversee the financial affairs of the Council and ensure that it is properly governed.

Members: Cllr C Adams, Cllr I Davies, Cllr M Groom, Cllr L Mitchell, Cllr G Stoddart-Stones, Cllr M Sullivan, Cllr L White
Meeting: 3rd Wednesday of each month (x2 when necessary).
Purpose: To review planning applications and make recommendations to the planning authority. Also, to develop and monitor the Parish Environment Policy.
Community matters
Members: Cllr C Adams, Cllr H Brabazon, Cllr P Kenny, Cllr L Mitchell, Cllr S Noyes, Cllr R Poncia, Cllr M Sullivan
Meeting: 4th Wednesday bi-monthly.
Purpose: To liaise with local groups and lead on planning for local Parish events.

Purpose: To prepare, review, maintain and operate the Parish Emergency and Resilience Plan.

Sustainability

Meeting: As necessary.
Purpose: To co-ordinate the Parish Council’s response to the climate and biodiversity crisis, and to support the Isle of Wight Council’s net zero targets.
